Advisor – Ake Persson – Ericsson

Ake Persson is an established member of the telecom industry with over 30 years of experience. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for several corporations and organizations including CommNexus. From 1999 until his retirement in February 2004, Persson was the president of Ericsson’s CDMA Systems Business Unit and president of Ericsson Wireless Communications Inc. in San Diego.

From 1995 to 1999, Persson was the vice president for marketing and sales for Ericsson Radio Systems, encompassing all wireless activities of the global Ericsson organization. From 1993 to 1995, he was the vice president of business development for Ericsson US.

Between 1970 and 1993, he served Ericsson in a number of other roles, including vice president and general manager of Ericsson’s Mobile Voice and Data Systems from 1984 to 1989. In addition to his experience with Ericsson, for two years, Persson was the executive vice president of RAM Mobile Data, Inc., a nationwide data service provider, which was subsequently acquired by BellSouth International, Inc.

Persson holds a B.Sc. in theoretical physics and mathematics from the University of Uppsala, Sweden.

 

Business Development Consultant – Jagadish Channagiri

Jagadish Channagiri has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, executive, architect, and programmer. He is the Founder and CEO of PowDeal.com, which is primarily focused on SMS Marketing and Deals Platform. Prior to that he was the VP Engineering & Operation at Bittorrent, a P2P company where he led the team that built the popular uTorrent, Video P2P & Infrastructure, and Embedded P2P client. Prior to Bittorrent, he was the CTO and VP Engineering at geoTouch. At geoTouch, he pioneered local search and LBS applications on mobile phones.

He has consulted extensively to startups and larger corporation including JobFlash acquired by Taleo, RiverOne acquired by i2 Technologies, Apisphere – a mobile platform company, AMD, and CRM Text Solutions – a text based CRM company.

 

Business Development Consultant – Ron Zurek

Ronald Zurek is past President, CEO and founder of Lynxtron, Inc. an electronic capital equipment company selling and marketing hi-technology capital equipment to the electronic circuit board assembly market. Ron grew the business from its inception to over $80 million in under five years. In addition, Ron has authored several technical articles and presented at major electronic trade shows. Ron hold a B.S. in Industrial Management from Purdue University with majors in both Marketing and Psychology. 

Advisor – Maria Pacheco

Maria Pacheco recently served as vice president of marketing for Vivendi Games Mobile, a division of Vivendi Games.  Pacheco managed product marketing initiatives for the Americas including consumer insights, communications and promotions.  She was also involved in the team’s editorial strategy for external intellectual properties and licensing activities.

Prior to joining Vivendi Games Mobile, Pacheco was senior director of marketing for JAMDAT, which was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2006.  Pacheco was responsible for managing marketing and public relations for new product launches and also managed cross-marketing efforts with external licensors and carriers.  Pacheco also served as director of sales for JAMDAT.

Previously, Pacheco was product marketing manager for Games at Sprint where she was responsible for managing mobile game marketing initiatives including programming and the Company’s mobile game review and selection process.  Pacheco received the 3GSM Industry Achievement Award for her integral role in launching Sprint’s ‘Game Lobby’, the industry’s first carrier-based mobile games community in the world.  Pacheco has also worked as director of marketing for Cerner Technologies and H&R Block E-Solutions. Pacheco holds a master’s degree in business administration from Baker University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Pittsburg State University.

 

Internet Engineer and Consultant – Michael Hagai Arieli

Michael has over 10 years experience working in internet and mobile WAP.  Michael has worked closely with CEO Arnel Guiang in the past at JuiceCaster building JuiceCaster version 1.0 and 2.0.

Michael has designed real-time Web system; protected crucial and sensitive data. Reduced support calls by 90% through design and implementation of stable data structure and helpdesk environment.  Hands-on leader skilled in matching user requirements, company objectives, and technology capabilities.

As CTO of ExcelWebZone, Michael established company Web presence; implemented more the 20 websites, including streaming media.  He is a master MySQL implementation for millions-record database for crucial operations.  He wrote custom applications to resolve many organizational bottlenecks when off-the-shelf tools were unavailable.

Michael holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Technion Universiry in Israel.

 

Managing Architect – Victor Oliveros

Victor Oliveros has worked with mTools over the past year has built the mTools core mobile client API and backend.  Victor is excellent with overall user interface and makes the API simple for multiple mobile based clients, plus he manages code merging and team based development.  Besides the backend, Victor has successfully launched mobile applications on Android and iPhone stores.   Victor has worked on JAVA, PHP, JAVA Android, and Objective C based code.

Victor Oliveros currently is a student a Cal Polytechnic University, Pomona and is earning his B.S. in Computer Engineering.

Lead Mobile Engineer – Rainier Encarnacion


Over the past year, Rainier has worked closely with mTools to build the first version of mShare, mSync, and mHome.  He has worked on the latest upgrades and maintains builds for in multiple operating systems and languages.

Rainier Encarnacion holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Cal Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Software Engineer – Kevin Chan

Kevin has been working on mTools for the past since mid 2008.  His contributions has been with Blackberry and Symbian devices.  Also, he has experience in Java and C++.    Kevin has a B.S in Computer Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona.
